Attorney Brian López was born and grew up in Stockton, CA. He has a passion for assisting families with their immigration issues because of his family’s history of immigrating to the United States from Mexico.
Legal Experience
During law school, Attorney Brian López worked as a student-attorney for the Pacific-McGeorge Immigration Law Clinic. Both during and after law school, he also worked as a legal clerk for the Victims of Crime Resource Center, a non-profit organization assisting victims of crime throughout the state of California. Attorney Lopez has also worked as a legal clerk with the Mexican Consulate of Sacramento where he offered Know Your Rights presentations and also assisted with legal issues of Mexican nationals in northern and central California. Attorney López has worked as a contract immigration attorney concentrating in victims of crime issues and also as a labor advocate for a local Sacramento County union. Attorney López was previously a managing attorney at his own immigration law practice before joining the Carson & Kyung team.
